PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing the brand of the incense stick remaining in a incense burner and for preventing fire due to abnormal heating by solving a problem where the brand of the incense stick remaining in the incense burner cannot be visually verified and cannot be cleaned easily. SOLUTION: For preventing fire, water 2 is loaded into a incense burner 1 and further a cylindrical container 3 is provided. The container 3 is partially drilled for providing a gap such as a hole in advance and is blocked by a dissolving substance such as lead, so that the substance is melted on heating and the water 2 in the incense burner 1 enters for extinguishing fire. As a means for preventing the brand of the incense stick, a lifting shaft 5 that is combined with a sand absorption/exhaust hole catch pan 4 is installed in the cylindrical container 3 and a substance with a large specific gravity such as sand 6 is loaded inside, and the lifting shaft 5 is pulled up when taking out brand D of the incense stick, thus removing only the brand of the incense stick. Further, the lifting shaft 5 is allowed to mate with a bearing port A of a catch lid 7, and the catch lid 7 is inversely inserted, the stopping the sand 6 at the catch lid 7 and the sand stop net 9. Further, by returning the lifting shaft 5 to a normal position, the sand absorption/exhaust hole catch pan 4 and the sand 6 are accommodated at the bottom of the cylindrical container 3 for completion.
