PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin foam filled with a safe flame retardant, having high flame retardant performance and excellent in texture and provide its production. SOLUTION: In a thermoplastic resin foam obtained from a thermoplastic resin composition in which preferably 100 pts.wt. of a polyolefin, the thermoplastic resin, is blended with 10-1,000 pts.wt. of a powdery filler, the aforesaid filler is preferably a metal hydroxide of aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide or a powdery flame retardant of a phosphorus-based compound and blended in 50-500 pts.wt. and the foaming magnification is >=4.0.
