PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating lever of a vehicle master cylinder capable of easily adjusting a grip tolerance (interval) between the operating lever and a handle grip. SOLUTION: This operating lever of a vehicle hydraulic master cylinder is characterized in that an oblong hole 15 is formed in the pivot part of the operating lever 5 of a hydraulic master cylinder and the operating lever 5 is moved in the oblong hole 15 relative to a pivot pin 4 of the lever fitted to the oblong hole so that a distance between the operating lever 5 and a handle grip 2 can be adjusted.
