PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a door weatherstrip reduced in weight and the number of assembling man-hours. SOLUTION: On a rising portion outside of a vehicle of an installing surface 2a for a weatherstrip 1 in an inner panel 2 of a door peripheral edge portion, a fitting recess portion 2b clipping an end edge portion 1b wherein a mounting base portion 1a of the weatherstrip 1 projects is formed. The end edge portion 1b of the mounting base portion 1a is formed from low density from sponge material S so as to have a thickness larger than the fitting recess portion 2b, and the end edge portion 1b of the mounting base portion 1a is pressed in the fitting recess portion 2b at the time of mounting the weatherstrip 1. |
