SUBSTANCE: apparatus for cutting magnetic fraction includes magnetic trapping member in the form of body of revolution with horizontal rotation axis provided with permanent magnets, unit for taking off magnetic fraction and chute for receiving it. Magnetic trapping members are in the form at least of two discs mounted on the same shaft. Each disc is perforated and(or) corrugated with radially arranged corrugations. Gap between discs at side of receiving chute is closed by means of receiving surface. Unit for taking off magnetic fraction is in the form of elastic members, preferably of brushes made of non-magnetic material, for example polymeric, and mounted with possibility of engaging with lateral faces of discs. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cutting magnetic fraction due to increased depth of cutting and increased surface area of contact with useful component. 4 cl, 2 dwg
