PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural antioxidant and a natural active-oxygen eliminator both of which are excellent in antioxidant action and active-oxygen- eliminating action, are highly safe for human bodies, and can be compounded into cosmetics, drugs, quasi-drugs, food, and various feed. SOLUTION: An antioxidant and an active oxygen eliminator are provided both of which contain, as the effective component, an extract of a plant with a scientific name: Terminalia arborea K. and; V. (indonesian name: Jaha Kling). An oral composition containing the antioxidant or active-oxygen eliminator is also provided. |
