PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting apparatus capable of beautifully and correctly cutting a fuse-cuttable material to be cut in a proper length. SOLUTION: This cutting apparatus has a fusing means 26 for cutting a fusible material 1 to be cut, such as a synthetic resin film, and a fusing preventing member 20 for separating the material 1 adhered to the fusing means 26 from the fusing means 26. The fuse preventing member 20 is provided on the side of the fusing means 26 for the material 1 and is formed in such a manner that the material 1 is separated from the fusing means 26 by pressing the surface of the material 1.
