PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat lock device for vehicle with no projection sense while maintaining a function for certainly informing that a seat is locked to a vehicle body. SOLUTION: A seat lock device for vehicle is provided with a latch member 12 attached/detached to a striker 9; a locking plate 14 engaged and supported to the latch member 12; an indication part for informing an engagement or a non-engagement of the latch member 12 and the striker 9; and an operation means 18 for operatively supporting the locking plate 14. The indication part 17 becomes the same surface as a top portion of a seat back in the restriction state of the striker 9. A link member 19 is rotatably and pivotally supported to a base 10. One member 19a is disposed at a position opposed to the operation means 18 and the other member 19b is disposed at a position opposed to the indication part 17. By connecting and supporting the link member 19 and the locking plate 14, when the operation means 18 is urged, the locking plate 14 is moved to a non-restriction position and the indication part 17 informs non- restriction.
