PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the roof having a simple structure and a strong strength, a good workability, and light, fire-resistance and heat-resistance characteristics. SOLUTION: In a roof plate between leg-like ribs 1 of a connection roof, a protrusion part and a recessed part to be fitted to a tight frame 6 are formed and in the tight frame 6 a protrusion part and a recessed part of the roof plate for fitting and leg-like rib fitting protrusion and recessed parts are respectively formed. The former protrusion and recessed parts and the latter protrusion and recessed parts are mutually fitted in an integral manner. Then, the tight frame is fixed to a building frame 1, a heat insulation plate of incombustible type made of rock wool or the like is layed on the roof plate, and thereon a water-proof layer 10b made of sheet material is layed.
