PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording device capable of avoiding the disturbance of a normal function of the recording device derived from the entrance of dusts, or the like from an opening part of a paper feeding means for setting a recording paper. SOLUTION: A cover member 21 is provided for covering the front surface of a paper feeding tray 3 comprising a paper feeding means. The cover member 21 is made of a light transmissible synthetic resin material for seeing through a recording paper 4 stored in the paper feeding tray 3 in the case of covering the paper feeding tray 3 from the front surface. According to the existence of the cover member 21, accumulation of dusts, or the like on the recording paper 4 set on the paper feeding tray 3 can be prevented effectively. Moreover, a printing failure problem caused by the entrance of dusts, or the like from a gap formed between the recording paper 4 stored on the paper feeding tray 3 and a case 11 for covering a recording device main body 1 can be solved.
