摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect intrapulmorary pressure and amt. of ventilation when high frequency artificial ventilation is performed. SOLUTION: This respirator is provided with an inspiration introducing part 62 of an inspiration feeding source, a vibrating air pressure energizing part 50 for energizing a high frequency vibrating air pressure, a patient side path 60 for guiding the inspiration to the patient X, an evacuating path 70 for evacuating expiration, an endotracheal inserting pipe 81 inserted into up to the first branch of the trachea from the mouth of the patient on the end part of the patient side of the patient side path 60, a branch pipe 84 for detection branched from the patient side path 60 or the evacuation path 70, a pressure detecting container 85 communicated with it, and a corresponding pressure detecting sensor 86 for detecting the inner pressure. The inner diameter and the length of the branched pipe 84 for detection and the volume of the pressure detecting container 85 are set in such a way that the pressure of the apex part of the inserting pipe 81 and the inner pressure of the detecting container 85 are set to such values that generate a relation of a linear function during high frequency artificial respiration is performed. Further, a controller 40 which stores the relation of the linear function and is provided with a function for calculating the apex pressure of the inserting pipe 81 from the detecting pressure of the pressure detecting sensor 86, is provided.
