PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording medium using a plastic resin film which is excellent in ink absorption and glossiness and is improved in terms of resistance against cracking, high humidity bleeding, and surface peeling as a support. SOLUTION: A ink-jet recording medium has a primer layer containing a synthetic resin as a main component on a plastic resin film support and has an ink receiving layer of pH 3-5 which contains gas phase method silica and a hydrophilic binder in an amount of 30 wt.% or below of the silica on the primer layer. |
