PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure for a rotary shaft omitting a lock ring or the like in such a manner that when a structure for inserting a bearing from the inside of a casing is adopted in the case the rotary shaft is supported on the casing or the like of a device, the lock ring or the like is used so as to prevent the bearing from moving inside, but partly a rotation transmitting element fit mounted in this rotary shaft is worked in a manner preventing the bearing from sliding on the rotary shaft. SOLUTION: A ball bearing 12 is supported by fit mounting to an end part of a rotating drive shaft 10. A flange part 12b provided to protrude in an outer ring 12a of the ball bearing 12 is engaged with a side wall 11a of a casing 11, so as to prevent the ball bearing 12 from coming off to the outside. A lock part 15 is formed in a side surface of a drive pulley 14 fit mounted in the drive shaft 10, this lock part 15 is made to about to an inner ring 12c of the ball bearing 12, it is prevented from moving to the inside.
