PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular transmission for ensuring a high power transmitting efficiency while satisfying a shift operation for a driver, for comparatively and easily carrying out the shift operation, for reducing the number of mechanical parts for carrying out the shift operation, which is light, which is formed in compact size, and which can be applicable to a compact car. SOLUTION: A shift mechanism part for carrying out a shift operation to a shift direction, and a select mechanism part for carrying out a shift operation to a select direction, are driven by motors respectively, and overcurrent is supplied to a shift motor for a short time so as to drive the shift motor.
