PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method and apparatus for exposing a recording medium to plural kinds of lights. SOLUTION: An optical head having a light source generating plural kinds of lights for exposing a recording medium and a light shutter divided into a plurality of rows and a control means always controlling the light source in a time sharing manner so as to generate one of plural kinds of lights are provided and a plurality of the rows of the light shutter expose the recording medium to either one of the lights emitted from the light source at the same time.
