PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable type printing device capable of loading some recording papers having different width to each other in such a way that a central position in a width direction of each of the recording papers may always come to a specified position even if the recording papers having different widths are loaded. SOLUTION: There are provided a main body 2 formed with a recording paper storing segment 2a having a rolled recording paper 1 stored therein; a guide shaft 8 arranged at the recording paper storing segment of the main body so as to be coaxial with an axis of said recording paper; and a position setting plate 13 arranged slidably along an axial direction of the guide shaft 8 and to which one side of said recording paper in the axial direction is abutted. Said guide shaft is provided with a scale 15 for setting a fixed position of said position setting plate and a center of said recording paper in its width direction is positioned at a specified position under a state in which said recording paper is abutted against said position setting plate.
