PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the heat generating temp. of a heating resistor by preventing a large change in the electric resistance value of the heating resistor at the time of use even when the heating resistor of a thermal printing head is produced as one high in the electric resistance value and as one low in this value. SOLUTION: The heating resistor 5 of a thermal printing head A contains a conductive substance and glass and, as this glass, at least more than two kinds of glasses different in softening point and heat conductivity are used in a mixed state.
