PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small ink-jet printer having a narrow width in an approach part of an ink carriage and an overrun part, with a high printing speed. SOLUTION: An ink-jet printer comprises a supporting shaft 72 provided rotatably around a predetermined axis, a bracket 44 fixed on the supporting shaft 72 so as to have a circular motion around the axis according to rotation of the supporting shaft 72, an ink carriage 46 disposed at a predetermined position from the supporting shaft 72 of the bracket 44, a conveyance guide 55 cut into a part of a paper cassette 66, comprising a part of a cylinder for holding a recording paper 54 in an arc-like state, a paper press 56 for pressing a recording paper placed on the conveyance guide 55, a pickup roller 52 for taking out the recording paper 54 pressed by the paper press 56 one by one, and a conveyance roller and a guide roller 48 for holding the recording paper 54 with respect to the conveyance guide 55 for guiding the same to a position facing the ink carriage 46 while maintaining the same curvature as that of the conveyance guide 55.
