METHOD OF MANUFACTURING MOLDING FOR LIGHTING MATTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a molding for a lighting matter which saves on a manufacturing cost to a large extent at a high production rate and is lightweight and further, shows an outstanding surface smoothness and a superb heat resistance. SOLUTION: A reaction stock solution containing at least a metathesis polymerization catalyst and a norbornene monomer is injected into a mold to block- polymerize the stock solution. A ruthenium complex is preferably used as the metathesis polymerization catalyst.
