The light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer or the non-light-sensitive colloid layer contains at least one of compounds i) and ii): i) a compound which reacts with the oxidized form of a color developing agent and releases a development inhibitor or a precursor of a development inhibitor; and ii) a compound which reacts with an oxidized form of a color developing agent to form a cleavage compound, the cleavage compound reacting with another molecule of the oxidized form of a color developing agent to form a development inhibitor. .
