MODIFIED POLYESTER-BASED TEXTILE PRODUCT EXCELLENT IN HYGIENIC PROPERTIES AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified polyester-based textile product exhibiting excellent antibacterial action and fungicidal action without deteriorating a feeling, water-repelling properties, resistance to dust absorption and other physical properties, and further capable of inhibiting the antibacterial action from being deteriorated by washing. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the modified polyester-based textile product excellent in hygienic properties comprises thermally treating a modified polyester-based textile product at 100-150 deg.C in a solution containing an antibacterial compound. And the modified polyester-based textile product excellent in the hygienic properties is manufactured by applying the solution containing the antibacterial compound to the modified polyester-based textile product, then subjecting the resulting textile product to dry-heating or steam- heating at 130-220 deg.C.
