PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an unevenness on the outer peripheral face of a belt without using a rubber sleeve. SOLUTION: A belt molding and vulcanizing apparatus is provided with a cylindrical mold 2 being removably provided, pieces 7 of a mold wherein one end of each piece is formed into a hooking part 7c to be hooked on a hooking projection provided on one of the axial direction of the cylindrical mold 2 and another end is made to be a free end 7b and the free end 7b is displaced so as to approach to the axis around the hooking part 7c as a support and when all the pieces are assembled, an outer mold being brought into contact with the outer peripheral face of a rubber-made belt precursor 3 provided on the outer peripheral face of the cylindrical mold 2 and covering this and on the inner peripheral face of which projections are provided at specified pitches in the peripheral direction, a heating means for heating the pieces 7 of the mold for vulcanizing the rubber of the belt precursor 3 at a specified degree of vulcanization, an outer mold forming mechanism for displacing the pieces 7 of the mold so as to form the outer mold and an outer mold deassembling mechanism for deassembling the outer mold.
