PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire cylinder which can be adjusted corresponding to the size of filling stone in a field of construction, and to provide a wire cylinder which can be simply and surely constructed at the time of continuously laying the wire cylinders. SOLUTION: This wire cylinder includes a spiral frame body 1 expansible in the axial direction, a lower net cover 2 fitted to the lower surface of the spiral frame body 1, and an upper net cover 2 fitted to the upper surface of the spiral frame body 1. In the wire cylinder, contraction of the space between reinforcement bars constituting the spiral frame body 1 is inhibited by insertion of a spacer 4, and an elongation preventing member is fitted between the reinforcement bars to fix the space.
