PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition for tires improved in both rolling resistance and wet grip performance without deteriorating processability, abrasion resistance and electroconductivity. SOLUTION: This rubber composition is obtained by compounding a natural rubber and/or diene-based synthetic rubber with, as fillers, a white filler and a specific polyoxyalkylene glycol compound of the general formula (I): R1O(R2 O)nR3.
