PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-way clutch capable of maintaining a connection condition of outer/inner rings by a top member even by weakening torque of a vehicle when current carrying in an electromagnetic coil is cut, by forming a relation between a plurality of top members and a cam mountain abutting thereto so as to mix the cam mountain of different contact condition. SOLUTION: In this two-way clutch, releasing press-in of a top member by controlling a phase of a cam ring 8 to engage an inner/outer ring 2, 5 through the top member 12 to transmit power, a relation between the top member 12 and a cam mountain 15 abutting thereto is provided so as to mix the cam mountain 15 of different contact condition, a connection condition of the outer/inner ring 5, 2 by the top member 12 can be maintained even by weakening torque of a vehicle when current carried in an electromagnetic coil is cut.
