PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate no clutch judder at all, when a power transmitting shaft, in its stopped condition, is connected through a clutch to an output shaft of a rotating prime mover. SOLUTION: In this constitution, a rotary unit 13 is rotated with an output shaft 1 of a prime mover, so as to independently rotate a power transmitting shaft 14 provided on a coaxial line to the output shaft 12 relating to it. A friction plate 16 rotated with the power transmitting shaft 14 is provided movably in its axial line direction, and the friction plate 16 is constituted so as to make it pressure abut to the rotary unit 13 by a drive means 18 or release this pressure abutting. When the drive means 18 makes the friction plate 16 come into pressure contact with the rotary unit 13, an excitation means 41 is constituted so as to give a vibration to the friction plate 16 displaced in its axial line direction.
