PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liner abrasion detection device free of fire hazard, capable of being used until its liner is bored with no need for periodically inspecting its liner internally packaged in its housing. SOLUTION: A liner 4 is attached to the inner wall of a housing 2 and a lid 3 so as to be packaged thereto at a specified interval, a heat resistant sheet 6 is also attached to the back surface of the liner 4, and a projecting material indicator 8 is set up at a place above the lid 3 so as to be communicated with a space B partitioned by the housing 2, the lid 3 and the heat resistant sheet 6, so that the insides of the space B and the projecting material indicator 8 are filled with projecting material S. A warning device is so devised as to be actuated when the liner 4 and the heat resistant sheet 6 are bored, and when the projecting material within the space B falls down so as to let the projecting material S be reduced to a specified remaining quantity.
