PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve wearing feeling and fit performance as well as to prevent stuffiness and heat rash by securing high air permeability at a waist part and around a crotch. SOLUTION: In this disposable diaper in which an absorbing body 3A is interposed between a liquid permeable top sheet 2 formed from a nonwoven fabric and a back sheet 1 for covering the outer surface side, and flap parts having no absorbing body are formed on front and rear ends and both sides of the absorbing body 3A, the back sheet 1 is constituted of a nonwoven fabric. A waterproof film 9 is interposed between the absorbing body 3A and the back sheet 1 and in a range for substantially covering the absorbing body 3A, the flap parts constituted of only nonwoven fabrics are formed on the whole peripheral range outside the waterproof film 9, a plurality of yarn-like elastic rubbers 11-13, etc., are arranged along the width direction at a distance in the longitudinal direction of a paper diaper, and shrinkable bands 8A, 8B are formed.
