PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire extinguishing device capable of continuous supply of a fire extinguishing agent in any place. SOLUTION: A gas turbine engine 1 drives an air compressor 3, and compressed air is expanded by an expansion turbine type air liquefier 4, loses temperature and is turned into liquid air and stored in a liquid air tank 5. Liquefied air is separated into liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen by an oxygen/nitrogen separator 6. Separated liquefied air is once stored in a buffer tank 9 and then emitted to a fire through a flexible hose 10. After the liquid oxygen is used as a refrigerant in a precooler 12, it is mixed into intake in an intake passage 13 of a gas turbine engine, prevents a decrease in the output of the gas turbine engine due to an increase in air temperature near a fire site, is turned into room temperature oxygen gas by an activity oxygen gas supply means 14 and supplied as activity oxygen gas for firefighters and rescuers.
