FREQUENCY RESOLUTION MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency resolution measurement procedure which can measure in a short time the frequency resolution of auditory sense, and scarcely become measurement impossible even for hard of hearing. SOLUTION: The examining sound is prepared by adding noise having prescribed notch width to the detected sound which frequency and sound pressure. The limit notch width of an examinee is obtained by judging whether or not the examinee can recognize the detecting sound from the examining sound by indicating this examining sound with spreading notch width.
