PURPOSE: A garbage disposer is provided which not only reduces energy consumption but also effectively disposes garbage without generation of stench or sewage and waste water by drying the garbage using heat generated from a condenser of cooling cycle. CONSTITUTION: The garbage disposer comprises a body(2) at the upper part of which a hopper is formed; an ascending conveyor(20) ascending garbage put into the hopper; an inclined member(30) which is downward slantly extended from the upper part of the ascending conveyor(20), and which distributes the garbage discharged after being ascended by the ascending conveyor(20); a collection member(34) which is equipped at the lower part of the inclined member(30), and which returns the garbage to the lower side of the ascending conveyor(20) by collecting the garbage dropped from the inclined member(30); and a cooling cycle equipped with an evaporator(46) and a condenser(44), wherein the cooling cycle dries the garbage by heating the garbage descended along the inclined member(30) and the collection member(34) with heat generated from the condenser(44) during operation of the cooling cycle, and water is liquefied and discharged into the outside by cooling air containing water evaporated from the garbage using the evaporator(46).
