<p>PURPOSE:To optimize the descending velocity by using the front-stage moving bed as the bed mainly for dust collection and the rear-stage moving bed as the bed for desulfurization and providing an ejector at the lower part of each moving bed. CONSTITUTION:A gas contg. hydrogen sulfide and dust is passed through the first moving bed 1 in which a desulfurizing and dust-collecting material descends at a high speed, and the dust is mainly collected. The desulfurizing and dust- collecting material used in the first moving bed 1 is drawn off at a high speed by the ejector 3, and a part of the material is supplied to a dust separator 5 to separate the dust and powdered material, introduced into regenerator 7 and regenerated. The regenerated material is supplied to the second moving bed 2 through a lift pipe 8, the gas from the first moving bed 1 is passed through the second moving bed 2, and the gas is mainly desulfurized. By this method, the sulfurization rate is enhanced without changing the operating condition, and the material is regenerated.</p> |
