<p>PURPOSE: To make it easy for an operator to select an object to be displayed by reversely mapping a selected area in a 2nd coordinate space to a 1st coordinate space, clipping data representing geometric basic feature elements displayed in this selected area, and selecting data. CONSTITUTION: This system is composed of a step for reversely mapping the 2nd coordinate space selected area to the 1st coordinate space, a step for clipping a data list showing the geometric basic feature elements displayed in the reversely mapped selected area, and a step for selecting the clipped data showing the display geometric basic feature elements crossing the reversely mapped selected area in the 1st coordinate space. Therefore, the display basic feature elements crossing an operator selection area in the 2nd coordinate space are discriminated. Consequently, the data displayed to discriminate those geometric basic feature elements can effectively and speedily be evaluated.</p> |
