PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple exterior label wrapping jig which shortens production time, improves workability and productivity in a small lot production. SOLUTION: In wrapping an exterior label material 2 having an arbitrary external indication face 2a on the outer peripheral face of a tube shape battery 1, the label material 2 is wrapped around the battery 1 through a printing process where the indication face 2a is printed on a seal shape printing paper, a punching process where the paper on which the indication face 2a is printed is punched out in a predetermined size, and an adhesive process where the label material 2 is adhered to the outer peripheral face of the battery using an exterior label wrapping jig 11. The jig 11 is provided with a base 12, a positioning recessed part 13 formed on one main face of the base 12 and positions the label material 2, and a stopper 14 which is provided on the base 12 freely rotatable and has a bar 14a which works as a standard for positioning battery and also presses the material 2 positioned on the recessed part.
