PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic for hair excellent in effects on impartment of gloss to the hair and prevention of damage to the hair and effective in prevention of alopecia, promotion of hair production, hair growth and prevention of gray hair. SOLUTION: This cosmetic for hair is obtained by formulating an avocado oil and a polar solvent extract of the avocado and a cell-activating ingredient therein. 2-Hydroxycarboxylic acids, vitamins and salts and derivatives thereof, nucleic acid-related substances, serum deproteinized extracts, spleen extracts, placenta extracts, cockscomb extracts, royal jelly, extracts of Ganoderma lucidum Karst., yeast extracts, lacric acid bacterial extracts, bifidus baterial extracts, inorganic salt, or the like, are exemplified as the cell-activating ingredient. |
