PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for the pyrolysis of dioxins. SOLUTION: This pyrolysis plant for pyrolyzing dioxins contained in ash by heating the ash containing dioxins to a prescribed temperature in a pyrolysis tank 1 is provided with an electric heater 4 for heating the ash in the tank 1, which is provided at the outside of the pyrolysis tank 1, and a stirrer 3 for stirring the ash, which is provided at the inside of the thermal decomposition bath 1. The surface layer parts of the internal surface of the pyrolysis tank 1 and the surface of the stirrer 3 are each formed from at least one selected from the group comprising pure copper, a copper alloy and a copper oxide. |
