METHOD FOR EVALUATING ESTABLISHMENT OF HEMATOPOIETIC STEM CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating the establishment of a hematopoietic stem cell by which the established state of the transplanted hematopoietic stem cell is estimated. SOLUTION: This method for evaluating the establishment of a hematopoietic stem cell comprises detecting the nucleic acid sequence of a specific gene contained in a sample cell derived from a patient by paying attention to the specific gene different in the nucleic acid sequence between the patient subjected to the transplantaion of the hematopoietic stem cell and a donor of the hematopoietic stem cell, providing a ratio of a cell having the specific gene derived from the patient to a blood cell derived from the donor and having the specific gene and estimating the established state of the hematopoietic stem cell established in the patient from the resultant ratio. The sample cell derived from the patient is the blood cell in peripheral blood. The specific gene is amelogenin gene.
