PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print a two-dimensional code well. SOLUTION: At the time of writing two-dimensional code information in a write memory 14, a CPU 11 erases last 1 dot of black dots continuous in the carrying direction of a recording sheet. More specifically, the two-dimensional code information is written while decreasing the last 1 dot of black dots continuous in the carrying direction of a recording sheet when the two-dimensional code information is developed, as it is, into a bit map. The CPU 11 sets a high density by raising the voltage being applied to the heater in a line thermal head 16 at the time of print control.
