DOT INVERSION DRIVING APPARATUS AND METHOD

PURPOSE: A dot inversion driving apparatus and method is provided to enable dot inversion to be carried out by applying a high-voltage driving integrated circuit of a dedicated single bank to a dual bank. CONSTITUTION: The first divider circuit(20) receives RGB data and divides the received RGB data in synchronization with the first clock signal(CLK2B). A clock divider circuit(50) divides the first clock signal(CLK2B) in response to a reset signal(RST), a data enable signal(DE), and the first clock signal(CLK2B) and outputs the second clock signal(CLK4). The second divider circuit(30) divides data from the first divider circuit(20) in response to the second clock signal(CLK4). In the case where two upper and lower data of the data divided by the second divider(30) are grouped, a data selecting part(40) outputs so that adjacent data are inverted, based on the second clock signal(CLK4).
