PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side air bag which is lightweight and excellent in air- tightness and which can be compactly housed. SOLUTION: The side air bag formed into a bag obtained by lapping the coated surfaces of two main foundation cloths at least one side of each of which is coated with thermosetting silicone, is a woven cloth in which raw threads, the denier of main foundation cloth of which is 210 denier or less, are used and the Metuke (weight/unit area) of which is 150 g/m2 or less. Further, the side air bag is characterized by the fact that the lapped parts of the main foundation cloths are joined to each other in a state where an adhesive silicone is sandwiched between the lapped parts. |
