摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain proper idling stop control irrespective of secular change of an engine including generation of misfire and the like. SOLUTION: Whether a value of a misfire degree value M exists between prescribed values M1, M2 or not is determined, when an acceleration pedal is not actuated. When the value M is larger than the value M2, a flag F value is made one. A flag F is brought into one. When the value M is between tha values M1, M2, determination results as to whether a hybrid vehicle is under an ascending condition or not, whether weight of the vehicle is heavier than prescribed weight or not, whether a turn switch or a hazard switch is operated to have the high possibility of steering after the restarting of the engine or not, whether steering torque of power steering is large or not, and the like are evaluated. When any of the determined conditions is satisfied, an ECU 30 determines the presence of some fear about stable restarting to set the flag F value into one. The idling stop control taking the secular change of the engine into account is provided thereby.
