USE OF CRF ANTAGONIST AND RELATED COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for therapy of a symptom selected from the following groups: (a) damage capable of being treated by changing circadian rhythm; and (b) depression, further the depression starting the reaction delayed from the start of the action of a CRF antagonist. SOLUTION: This therapeutic method comprises administering corticotropin- releasing factor antagonist in an amount sufficient for treating the symptom, and concerns to the method of the therapy and prophylaxis of cardiovascular disease. The method comprises combining the CRF antagonist with a non-CRF- based antagonist compound to treat the disease. The method also concerns the therapy of migraine headache or headache without the migraine headache, and comprises administering the CRF antagonist in combination with the non- CRF-based antagonist to treat such the symptom. The method also treat vomiting by using the CRF antagonist combined with the non-CRF-based antagonist to treat the vomiting.
