PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing partition boards which makes it possible to dispense with or sharply reduce the work for cutting the partition boards at the site of building and also prevents lowering the strength of a partition stud. SOLUTION: Grids are laid out longitudinally and laterally at prescribed intervals, using as the reference the point O of intersection of the respective N-cores NX and NY of two outer walls 3X and 3Y intersecting each other perpendicularly so that they form a projected corner part 2 of a building A, and partition studs 5 are provided upright at the points 4 of intersection of the grids GX, GY, while the partition studs 5 are further provided upright at equal intervals between those partition studs 5 serving as the references and then partition boards 1 are fixed to the opposite sides 5a and 5b of the consecutively provided partition studs 5, adjacently to each other in the lateral direction. In this method for constructing the partition boards 1, each partition board 1 on one side 5a of the partition studs 5 is fixed to some of the studs 5, while each partition board 1 on the other side 5b is fixed to other partition studs 5.
