PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous filter having an end seal high in sealability because the pores of the end part of the filter are closely and almost perfectly closed by a silicone resin, good in production yield and less prone to leave a washing chemical soln. SOLUTION: A porous filter 1 has a porous filter layer 5 and at least one end part of the filter 1 is sealed with an addition reaction curable liquid silicone resin.
