PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain soil for adjusting soil environment which has functions similar to those of the lower layer soil of an open field, of which the water retention properties, fertilizer retention properties, drainage properties, and air permeability can be adjusted, and which can promote the growth of roots of plants. SOLUTION: The objective soil contains granules 3. The granules 3 contain a natural silicon polymer 2, and the spaces between molecules of polymer 2 or the granules 3 have water retention properties and fertilizer retention properties. The granules 3 comprise at least one kind of material selected from among ceramic chips, brick chips, and waste pulp. The granules 3 carrying the polymer and granules 4 not carrying the polymer are mixed to adjust the water retention properties, fertilizer retention properties, drainage properties, and air permeability. The granules 3 contain a microorganisms preparation useful for plants. |
