PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a program that an operating failure is generated since a regulating member is disposed outside a case, in a constitution provided with a check and balance mechanism which is provided with a high and low speed switching device on a front wheel driving part of a four-wheel drive vehicle, and for fitting a check and balance member to a clutch body by sliding a check and balance shaft so as to preventing the clutch body from releasing from a high speed position or a low speed position. SOLUTION: A check and balance shaft is divided into two parts of a first and second check and balance shafts 61, 62, one end of the first check and balance shaft is inserted into an axial core of a drive shaft 4 for storing a check and balance member 7 and for fitting around a clutch body 1, one end of the second check and balance shaft is connected to a high and low speed switching actuator 49, the other ends of the first and second check and balance shafts are connected to each other by a spring pin 60 and an oblong hole 62b, springs 14, 63 are disposed on both sides of the first check and balance shaft, and are elastically supported between the drive shaft and the second check and balance shaft.
