摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dephosphorization material for cleaning water, which is harmless to natural environment, capable of improving the efficiency in dephosphorization and is inexpensive, and to provide a method of producing the same. SOLUTION: The dephosphorization material for cleaning water is obtained by sticking calcium silicate hydrate onto a nucleus material composed of a concrete waste material or a lightweight waste material having particle size of 1 to 100 mm. As the lightweight material, at least one of waste polystyrenes or waste polyurethanes is used. The form of the nucleus material is a hollow form. The concrete waste material and the lightweight waste material constitute a mixture having such a ratio that the dephosphorization material containing the concrete waste material or the lightweight waste material as the nucleus material is present over the whole area from the upper layer to the lower layer in water. The method of producing the dephosphorization material for cleaning water is comprised of adding the nucleus material of the concrete waste material or the lightweight material having particle size of 1 to 100 mm into a slurry containing calcareous and siliceous raw materials as main raw materials, then mixing the slurry to stick the slurry onto the nucleus material and curing the obtained nucleus material stuck with the slurry in an autoclave.
