PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product such as tableware which can eliminate the weak points of plastics such as deposition of toxic substances and environmental pollution while the advantages same as those of plastics are maintained. SOLUTION: A raw material consisting of recycled cardboard is molded into a predetermined form by pressing, shearing or choking. The molded material is coated with a coating material consisting of a mixture of lacquer, rice starch and diatom earth and polished. Then coating/polishing are repeated to finish a product such as tableware, etc. In the case of a product made of a plurality of, for instance two, materials, the two material parts are bonded to each other by utilizing the adhesivity of the coating material and unified and then polished and, further, coating/polishing are repeated.
