PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bread dough having a pre-set weight and a high quality by the use of a space-saved system for forming the food dough. SOLUTION: This system for forming the food dough comprises a hopper capable of receiving the large mass of the food dough, a cutter device which is used for dividing and cutting the food dough into food dough pieces each having a prescribed length and an approximately constant quantity and is disposed in the lower opening portion of the hopper, a transfer conveyer for the food dough pieces divided and cut with the cutter device to a dough feeder obtained by arranging plural rollers in a V-shaped form, the dough feeder for forming the divided and cut food dough pieces into belt-like products, a carrying conveyer for carrying the food dough pieces formed into the belt-like products having an approximately constant thickness in the dough feeder, an aligning device for aligning the positions of the belt-like food dough pieces with the carrying conveyer, a separating and extending device for equally separating and extending the belt-like food dough pieces in the carrying direction on the downstream side of the aligning device, a weighing conveyer for carrying the food dough pieces and simultaneously weighing the separated, extended and carried food dough pieces, and a cutting device for cutting the belt-like food dough pieces, when the weight of the belt-like food dough pieces measured with the weighing conveyer is coincident with a pre-set value.
