PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a full steel sawtooth cleaning device for attaining the satisfactory cleaning while avoiding excessive abrasion though the device has swiftly operating formation and to provide a method for cleaning the full steel sawtooth. SOLUTION: A cleaning element 40 comprises a L-shape lever 42 and a cleaning blade 56, which is energized toward the teeth alignment 100 of the full steel sawtooth since the tip of the longer leg 44 of the lever 42 is stretched by a tension spring 52. When high temperature resistance is generated at the blade 56, the blade 56 is automatically lifted from the bottom of a groove. The position of the blade 56 can be adjusted by the operation of an eccentric lever 60. Therefore, the excessive abrasion can be prevented though this device has the swiftly operating formation.
